How much does wedding painting cost?
Your wedding painting investment can vary depending on which wedding painting service you want, the location, date, and the canvas size. Prices range from $1200 up to $6500 with the average price right around $2800.
Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes. Once we talk and decide which package is best for you, the down payment is 50% of the total booking cost.
However, if you are sure of the date and sure you want to hire me, I can take a non-refundable $500 down. This will hold your date and give you the freedom of deciding which package you want later. This is a great option if you have a popular wedding month or if the painting is a gift.
Can you paint indoors or outdoors?
Yes and yes! I LOVE outdoor weddings. As a competitive Plein Air painter, I frequently travel to paint the outdoors from life and love everything it has to offer.
What if the weather is bad?
I’m flexible! I will work with your venue and planner to set up indoors and work from photos as an alternative.
When will I receive the finished painting?
Not the same day. Paintings are brought back to my studio for additional painting and dry time.
I use oil paint for its longevity and beauty. Each layer of paint can take a week to dry before the next layer can be applied. All layers need to dry at least two weeks before varnish is applied. Then your painting can be framed (optional) and delivered. This can be months after your wedding.
Optionally, I do offer an Event Day Only package. This lower priced package ensures your painting is finished and left behind the same day. If you need your painting right away, let me know!
